70–80% conversion from a 50-person base · 15–20% to subscription · first client found during the course
“Out of 50 people, conversion was genuinely 70–80%. The follow-up sequence worked great, and that showed me not everyone is ready to take action on day one, on the first touch. That's why the sequence is so important and made a big difference to conversion.”Andrey Zabiyaka, founder of VIRTUS
THE BUSINESS
Andrey Zabiyaka is a marketer and the founder of the VIRTUS agency. The agency sells end-to-end marketing automation in messengers, websites and paid search. The model is a partner one: Andrey implements Leeloo.ai for clients himself and builds the agency on the platform. His first client was an MLM company.
BEFORE LEELOO
Before Leeloo.ai, Andrey did email marketing and built websites. He heard about the platform through a recommendation at a closed event for MLM businesses. The name did not sound serious to him at first. Then he clicked the link, hit the Get video button and watched Vasiliy Riy's closed talk for Microsoft. Five days later he signed up for the architect course (second cohort) and, in his words, dropped everything else for the training.
WHAT WAS BUILT
Andrey built the first tunnel himself, still during the course, for an MLM company. Subscription into the tunnel averaged 15–20%. Then the follow-up sequence took over: the target action, entering the platform to talk to a manager, was offered in a series of four messages. He got the hang of the platform quickly; the short tutorial videos helped. The principle he took from the course: a short, clearly stated idea delivered into the most personal communication channels, the messengers. Aggressive ads with banners and huge discounts he calls hick marketing and advises newcomers to move away from it.
THE RESULTS
From a base of 50 people, about 14 entered the platform on day one. The second message added about 7 more, the third and fourth up to 5. Andrey puts the total conversion at 70–80%. His main takeaway: far from everyone is ready to act on the first touch, so the follow-up sequence did the most for the result. He found his first paying client before the course ended. To those studying now, he advises not to give up if the first launch fails.
