THE BUSINESS

Lara German, interior designer. The product: her own online course for practicing and beginner designers, 10 sessions plus 3 bonus ones, priced at ₴11,000. Sales run through sales webinars; in parallel Lara keeps working on her own design projects.

BEFORE LEELOO

For a year Lara tried to launch the course online. She changed contractors: first a marketer, then a team of marketers, and made edits to the course. With them she moved up a few rungs but never reached a result. She assumed that moving a webinar from the 5th to the 7th changed nothing. She saw the real scale of launch preparation only when working with the agency.

WHAT WAS BUILT

We started with the site: the agency's architect designed, built and launched it. He then ran a series of interviews with the target audience and checked whether there was demand for the product. The interviews surfaced designers' pains Lara had not been aware of. Those are the pains she voiced on the webinar, and buyers later named them as the reason they bought. The webinar invitation was built as a series of emails with carefully worked copy and visuals. Traffic came from partners' mailing lists, with no ad budget. Preparing one webinar for its set date took a team of four people four working days. After the launch Lara sees the whole funnel in Leeloo: who subscribed, who left a request, who paid, whom to call and close, whom to message in a messenger.

THE RESULTS

Two sales webinars gathered 170 attendees (about 100 at the first and 70 at the second) and brought 14 buyers of the ₴11,000 course. Ad budget: zero. By agreement, 30% of the revenue went to partners for the mailing. The marketers Lara had worked with before looked at the platform and rated it highly. Lara herself says that had she come to Leeloo Agency straight away, it all would have happened faster.

StudyLess started with a $500 ad budget and a $5 marathon funnel. The funnel connected low-cost entry to the full course. Six years later, more than 500,000 Ukrainians had taken the marathon. Not one ad campaign in that time pointed to a website: only to Leeloo tunnels.

“We pulled off a record sale there, around $600,000, I think.”

The International University of the Quran teaches women to read the Quran in Arabic. Before Leeloo.ai, integrations between services kept breaking and webinar reminders failed to fire. The school built its own Telegram funnel: the first $200 campaign brought over a thousand leads, the base grew past 10,000, revenue is about $40,000 a month.
